The firm was established by Angelo Basilio Natoli in 1949 and remains in the same premises to this day at 24 Cotham Road, Kew. Angelo was studying his final year of law at the University of Melbourne, when he enlisted for service in the army in July of 1941, joining 29th/46 Battalion, where he served the majority of his time in New Guinea, and upon his return in 1946, completed his last few subjects of his law degree.
Three of Angelo’s eleven children, John Natoli, Angelo J. Natoli and Paul Natoli, have each worked in the firm for 50 years, and ran the firm for 36 years, from 1988 to 2024.
Now, the third generation of the family has entered the firm to ensure its longevity and commitment to quality legal services well into the future. Angelo’s grandsons Thomas Natoli and Joshua Natoli, along with Dean Di Staso (an honorary Natoli by marriage), now serve as the current principals of the firm.
